Community
In addition to our work with Folkestone’s young people, we aim to provide a welcoming and sustainable space for the local community. Transforming the plot of disused Network Rail land that we call home is no mean feat, and we love to involve the local community in our ecological projects wherever possible.
If you’d like to come along and say hello, we run an open access community morning every Thursday – Come and say hello. We’ll pop the kettle on!

Events
On Thursday mornings between 10:30-13:30, we have an open community morning, where we help to expand upon the work that the young people do the rest of the week, including maintenance of our site and kitchen gardens, with an emphasis on recycling & upcycling. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have “green fingers” – just come along and join in!
